What you'll notice
The picture flickers, pulses, or briefly blacks out and recovers, especially noticeable on darker scenes.
Why it happens
A failing backlight driver struggling to maintain steady current, or a marginal connection between the driver and the strip.
How we fix it
We test the driver under sustained load (a five-minute bench test rarely reveals an intermittent fault) and replace the driver or re-seat/re-solder the connection as the fault demands.
