What you'll notice
The picture is perfect but there is no sound from the TV's internal speakers on any source or channel.
Why it happens
A failed internal speaker, a disconnected speaker cable, a blown audio amplifier stage, or (worth checking first) the audio output set to an external device that isn't connected.
How we fix it
We check settings and connections first — the free fix — then test speakers and the amplifier stage individually and replace only what has actually failed.
